If you are able to unscrew the nozzle from your hose, this is simple and you can remove it from the hose and skip to #6. Lucky you!   You may not have a base or a hose receiver as this is more common in Europe and Australia. Skip to #4 if this is the case.   This part is optional and the majority of US and Canada-based salons cannot use this part. Skip to #4 if you do not have space around your vacuum breaker.

Included in your ECOHEADS box is a black metal adapter. This is used if your hose has a male fitting. You do not need this part if your hose has a female fitting.

This part is important to avoid leaks! Also, please be careful to ensure the washers do not obstruct the flow of water as this is a common culprit of low pressure after install. NOTE: you may also want to use a small amount of plumber's tape around the threads for a perfect seal.

This part is the fun step! Screw on your new spray nozzles and give them a spin!

Troubleshooting

Not as easy as shown above? While most installations are incredibly smooth, your basin may need a little extra TLC. While our advice isn’t a replacement for a professional plumber, we have a few tips that some of our clients have passed on.

#1 - I can't unscrew my nozzle

Likely you have an all-in-one hose and so you can either buy a hose locally or go to this link and purchase from us. Our hoses fit the majority of US shampoo bowls BUT it isn’t a guarantee so check that the thread you need is a standard US ¼ inch female thread.

#2 - I can't access the area to unscrew my hose

Installing your ECOHEADS Showerhead shouldn’t require master yogi poses, so if you are struggling to access the area to unscrew your hose we recommend calling a professional plumber. Make sure to keep our support number on hand for the plumber to give us a call if they have any questions.

#3 - The hose doesn't fit the thread on my basin

If you are trying to screw on the ECOHEADS hose to the connection under your basin and they do not match, you will likely need an adapter. This is very common if you have a European basin. You can purchase one directly from this supplier on Amazon.
